On an ordinary evening a Budapest dinner cruise costs between $49 and $140 per person, based on real sailings we priced for late October 2026. Most full dinners sit between $75 and $123. The figure that changes your total most is not the ticket but the drinks: only two cruises include them, so a cheaper ticket with a bar tab can end up costing more than a dearer one with an open bar.

What the price includes
Every dinner cruise ticket covers the sailing itself, which on its own would cost $12 to $28 on a sightseeing boat, plus the meal, at least one drink and some form of live music. None includes hotel pickup: you make your own way to the pier on the Pest bank, which in the centre of the city is usually a short walk or a tram ride.
What separates the cheap end from the dear end is mostly the length of the evening and the meal. At $49 the gulyás cruise gives you a bowl of goulash soup or a lángos on a 90-minute loop. At $75 the Rajkó cruise adds a full set menu and a folk dance show in the same 90 minutes. From $89 to $123 you get two to two and a half hours with four courses or a buffet, and above that you are paying for wine, as on the five-wine tasting cruise.
The drinks decide the real total
On seven of the nine dinner cruises the ticket includes one welcome drink and nothing more. Wine, beer, soft drinks and coffee are bought on board, and no operator publishes its bar prices on the listing. Two cruises work differently. The River Diva cruise at $111 includes unlimited cocktails, spirits, wine, Prosecco, beer and soft drinks, served at the table, and the gourmet cruise at $113 includes unlimited wine.
That is why the River Diva often works out cheaper than it looks. Against the $123 Legenda dinner, it costs $12 less before anyone orders a glass of wine, and nothing more afterwards. If you would order a bottle with dinner anyway, the open bar is the better value; if you drink little, a cheaper seated dinner is.

These are the prices for a real date, per person, not the “from” figure at the top of each listing. On three cruises that headline was lower than any date we could book: the folk dance cruise shows $74 and sold at $99, Silverline’s 4-course cruise shows $86 and sold at $89, and the Christmas Eve cruise shows $174 and sold at $219.

Prices move with the date and the season. The calendar on each listing shows the price for your night before you pay, and every cruise here offers free cancellation up to 24 hours before departure.
The extras that change the bill
- A window table. Silverline sells one as a booking option: $130 instead of $102 on its folk show cruise, and $280 instead of $219 on Christmas Eve. On other boats a window seat is not promised at any price.
- Your menu choice is not an extra. On the folk cruises the vegetarian, poultry and Hungarian menus all cost the same.
- Arriving late can cost money. Silverline will rebook a late guest, if there is space, for an extra 50% of the original price paid on the spot. Be at the pier 20 to 30 minutes early.
- Where a listing mentions gratuities, they are not included.
What a dinner cruise costs for two
A couple pays $98 to $110 for the gulyás cruise, $150 for the Rajkó dinner cruise, $222 for the River Diva with drinks included, and $246 for the Legenda candlelit dinner before drinks. A family of four on the Rajkó cruise pays about $300. The festive nights cost more: $438 for two on Christmas Eve, $560 with a window, and $808 for two on New Year’s Eve, which does include the drinks. If the price is the obstacle, eat on land and take a drinks cruise.
